The government has continued to promote a campaign to wear masks during the Covid-19 pandemic. The campaign is a first step to raise public awareness about the importance of wearing masks.
Director of Health Promotion and Community Empowerment of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Riskiyana Sukandhi Putra, said at the Covid-19 Handling Ratas and economic recovery, the President said that the government should focus and gradually convey information to the public.
"Because according to the demographic survey 80 percent already want to wear a mask. There are still 20 percent who cannot be a source of transmission. So there is still a need for gradual education dissemination, "he explained, Thursday (13/8/2020).
